Senior Cost Engineer -
Job Description
Utilising your knowledge and expertise in the Cost Engineering discipline you will be responsible for providing Project Control solutions and services to our clients. You will also be a key contributor to improving processes, procedures and tools utilised by the function. As a Senior Cost Engineer, you are required to be commercially focused, confident in running your own project as well as working effectively within a team.
Candidates with a track record of cost management at pre and post contract; working on contracts through the development cycle to the delivery through the construction phase would be preferred. The successful candidate will work closely with Planning Engineers to ensure the integration of costs and planning artefacts on contracts whilst reporting to the Manager of Cost Engineering.
Please note potential candidates for this role must be able to obtain and retain security clearance to be considered for this position. (Minimum 3 years residence in UK)

- Responsible for the monthly production of a monthly PMR reporting on profit, loss, forecasting project performance and overall commercial health of the project.
- Establishing professional and appropriate relationships with clients, colleagues and other parties involved in the projects and programmes we support
- Administering a variety of contracts in accordance with project objectives and policies
- Managing and maintaining Cost Control and Forecasting on a range of projects
- Ensuring the basis of Estimates at Completion (EAC) is predicted using industry recognised approaches or as required by the Contract , including but not limited to, the latest resourced schedule and EVM productivity as to ensure accurate, reliable and consistent forecasting and ensuring that any change is managed and reported ;
