Cloudera is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer, Spark (Java) to design and build enterprise-grade data engineering features for Spark and Livy. You will work on scalable systems running on thousands of nodes, across distributed teams in the United States and Hungary.
You will develop in Scala/Java/Python, contribute to Iceberg and Parquet formats, and mentor peers while focusing on reliability, performance, and fault tolerance in distributed environments.
