We are looking for a Senior Mechanisms Engineer with the mission to take responsibility for leading the technical development cycle of high reliability space mechanisms and mechanical systems , covering all the product lifecycle from conception to serial production. You will contribute to the identification and definition of new products departing from market/customer and internal needs. Tasks to be performed:



Understand user/market needs and produce detailed technical specifications accordingly. Derivation to lower-level Requirements and maintenance of requirements trees and related documentation. Technical leadership on mechanisms product development projects. Define technical development strategies , in close collaboration with Project Managers and the technical team. Define top level architectures and interfaces for the products under development. Coordinate the technical development with the specialists in different engineering areas and identify cross-area needs. Coordination of key technical designs and analyses . Complete trade-offs and preliminary concept designs , feasibility analyses , identify critical areas and prepare plans for mitigation .
