The opportunity
CSIRO Verification Services delivers nationally and internationally recognised product certification programs,
drawing on CSIRO’s scientific, technical, engineering and laboratory expertise. As a Conformity Assessment Body, the team assesses and certifies products and systems against Australian and international standards, CSIRO technical specifications, and other regulatory and industry requirements.
The ActivFire Scheme is a leading certification program for fire protection products and systems, supporting confidence in the performance and compliance of technologies used across the construction and fire protection sectors.
As an ActivFire Certification Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring fire protection products meet rigorous certification requirements. Working across technical assessment, auditing, stakeholder engagement and certification project management, you will contribute to a trusted program that supports safety, compliance and confidence across Australia's built environment.
