You will help transform internal infrastructure and business workloads into reliable, productized services running on Kubernetes. As an engineering leader, you will combine people management and technical leadership, guiding engineers while remaining close enough to the technology to contribute directly. You will shape software architecture, engineering standards, testing practices, documentation, and delivery processes. Working in a highly distributed environment, you will collaborate with engineers and leaders across regions and help foster a strong culture of quality and continuous improvement. Accountabilities
- Lead a regional engineering team focused on productizing business workloads and delivering reliable, automated operations on Kubernetes.
- Build, manage, and grow a high-performing team of engineers through coaching, mentoring, regular feedback, and career development.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership and contribute directly to engineering goals while maintaining an effective balance between management and technical contribution.
- Establish and maintain sound software architecture, engineering practices, testing standards, documentation, and overall software quality.
- Set realistic delivery schedules based on thoughtful estimates and continuously improve planning through feedback and iteration.
- Set and manage expectations with other engineering teams, technical leaders, and external stakeholders to ensure effective delivery and alignment.
