About the Role
DKSH Performance Materials is leading specialty chemicals distributor, supplying customers across a diverse range of Australian industries including Agricultural, Infrastructure, Power Generation, Water treatment, Roads, Mining and Industrial Manufacturing.
Due to continued business growth, we are seeking a motivated and ambitious Account Manager to join our market-leading organisation. The role is idóneo for someone early in their sales career who is looking to develop their commercial skills, build long-term customer relationships, and establish a successful career in specialty chemical sales.
What You Will Deliver
- Identify key contacts within the customer, nurture long-term relationships,
learn their business needs so you can provide long-term, relevant support
- Negotiate commercials and optimize supply fulfillment
- Find and execute opportunities to increase portfolio selling by creating innovative solutions for customers & taking into consideration DKSH’s complete product portfolio
- Create and achieve account management plans by aligning internal stakeholders to drive growth
- Develop and maintain a call plan and report via DKSH’s Salesforce CRM tool
- Accurately forecast customer demand to optimize inventory positions
- Explore business opportunities by gaining and maintaining an understanding of customers’ formulations and raw material requirements
- Create and communicate technical value to customers by understanding how customer needs and our portfolio intersect
