Job description

The customs clearance specialist is an expert in customs operations and processes. By providing their expertise in this field,



they help the company to manage risks and avoid legal proceedings by ensuring that commercial operations are carried out in compliance with all the regulations and legislation in force.

Applicant's profile

Steering and monitoring of customs operations
Prepare and submit required documentation for international shipments, including bills of lading, customs declarations, and other necessary documentation
Validate official declarations with the customs authorities
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and laws, including tariffs, customs clearance, and import/export regulations
Manage the invoicing process to the client in a timely and accurate manner
Represent the client to the Customs Authority
Alert the client in case of litigious customs, identify the appropriate solutions to resolve the issue
Coordinate with other members of the logistics team, such as freight forwarders and warehouse personnel, to ensure that goods are transferred
