We are seeking an experienced Firmware Security Engineer with strong expertise in embedded firmware development, security, networking, and Linux-based systems. The idóneo candidate will design, develop, test, and integrate secure firmware components for embedded devices while working closely with cross-functional engineering teams. Experience with C/C++, Python, Embedded Linux, security protocols, networking, debugging tools, and firmware validation is highly preferred.
Key Requirements
- Strong experience in Embedded Firmware Development and Software Engineering.
- Hands-on experience with C, C++ (11/14), Python, and TCL programming languages.
- Experience with concurrent programming, multithreaded, and multi-process systems .
- Strong understanding of firmware architecture, software design patterns, and scalable embedded software design .
- Experience developing Qt/QML user interfaces .
- Hands-on experience with HTTP/REST APIs and secure web services .
- Good knowledge of Assembly (when required), RTOS concepts, and embedded systems development .




- Strong experience working in Linux (embedded and development environments), Windows, and macOS .
- Experience with Git/GitHub version control systems.
- Hands-on debugging experience using JTAG, GDB, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and memory debugging tools .
- Experience with unit testing frameworks (GTest/GMock) .
- Experience using Make, CMake , and Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools .
- Familiarity with GCC ARM toolchains, package managers (apt, pip), and Docker-based development environments .
- Strong understanding of authentication and authorization technologies including Kerberos, SASL, and LDAP .
- Experience implementing TLS/SSL, OpenSSL, PKI, certificate management, and secure communication protocols .
- Knowledge of HTTPS, Secure REST APIs, and embedded security best practices .
- Experience using Wireshark for networking analysis, packet capture, and protocol debugging.
