The Marine Mechanic will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and overhauling marine diesel engines, waterjets, propulsion systems, and associated mechanical equipment aboard assigned vessels. This position supports vessel engineering operations by performing preventive and corrective maintenance, assisting with dry dock operations, conducting inspections,



and ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations.Job ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot, diagnose, repair, overhaul, and maintain marine diesel engines, waterjets, propulsion systems, and associated mechanical equipment aboard assigned vessels.Provide technical support to Chief Engineers and Vessel Engineers to ensure the safe and reliable operation of vessel machinery.Inspect, repair, and maintain auxiliary mechanical systems, including air compressors, pumps, cooling systems, fuel systems, hydraulic systems, and related equipment.Determine required replacement parts, materials, tools, and supplies necessary to complete maintenance and repair activities.Perform preventative and corrective maintenance in accordance with manufacturer specifications, company procedures, and maintenance schedules.Support vessel dry dock operations by performing inspections, repairs, equipment
