This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a QuickBooks Financial Controller based in Spain.
This is a fully remote, full-time opportunity for an experienced accounting professional ready to take ownership of a company’s financial operations.
You will report directly to the CFO and play a central role in strengthening and professionalizing the finance function.
The position offers significant responsibility across the General Ledger, month-end close, reconciliations, reporting, cash management, and accounting controls.
A key part of the role will be helping transition accounting activities from an external provider to a fully in-house operation.
You will also become the internal QuickBooks expert, configuring and optimizing the platform to support business and reporting needs.
The role combines hands-on accounting with team oversight, operational support, and collaboration with U.S.-based colleagues and clients.

Accountabilities
Take full ownership of the General Ledger, ensuring financial records are accurate, complete, and consistently maintained.
Configure, optimize, and manage QuickBooks to support accounting structures, reporting requirements, and business processes.
Lead or support QuickBooks configuration and implementation initiatives.
Drive the transition of accounting and General Ledger activities from an external accounting provider to an in-house function.
Manage monthly close activities, including reconciliations, account reviews, and timely closing of the books.
Establish and maintain an appropriate Chart of Accounts and consistent accounting classification standards.
Prepare and review financial statements and P&L; reports across business divisions.
Oversee bank reconciliations and monitor cash position
