The German speaking Business Development Manager role identifies, engages, and establishes commercial relationships with Marketplace prospects and future merchants, aggregators, partners, and strategic key accounts, which will onboard on to the Kingfisher banner marketplaces. The role will be key to drive the growth acceleration of each of our local banners.
This role sits within our Marketplace Group team and the candidate will need to have a strong sales appetite with commercial sense and vision. German market knowledge and language is a must for the role. The position can be based from any of our locations.
What's the job?




Manage the end-to-end sales cycle for German merchants to come onboard the Kingfisher Marketplaces (B&Q;, Bricot Depot Iberia, Castorama Poland, Castorama France).
You will be responsible to establish a clear strategy for the recruitment of these merchants. Thereafter, you’ll present to banner leaders and need to get their approvals. You will then have full ownership of the execution / implementation of this strategy.
