The intern will actively participate in the preparation and follow-up of publications, with a focus on proofreading, editing, and monitoring industry trends. This internship offers hands-on experience in the book production process, from manuscript receipt to publication.
1. Proofreading and Editing
Thorough proofreading of manuscripts (spelling, grammar, syntax, typography)
Verification of the text’s overall consistency (style, tone, structure)
Harmonization of content according to the editorial guidelines
Identification of any inconsistencies or substantive errors
Participation in the preparation of proofs (BAT, corrected proofs)

2. Editorial Monitoring




Editorial monitoring with a particular focus on content creators and new forms of expression emerging from social media
Tracking literary news (new releases, trends, emerging authors)
Analysis of competitors’ catalogs
Drafting of reading notes and summaries
Identification of new themes or editorial opportunities
Degree in literature or book publishing
Excellent command of the English and Italian language (impeccable spelling and grammar)
Attention to detail, a meticulous approach, and a critical mindset
A strong passion for reading and literature
