About the team you are joining
We are seeking a motivated and proactive Intern to support IATA’s activities in Spain and Portugal. Working directly with the Country Manager, you will contribute to IATA’s lobbying, advocacy, and stakeholder engagement work, helping to promote a competitive, safe, and sustainable air transport environment in the region.
This internship is ideal for students or recent graduates interested in aviation policy, government relations, sustainability, and strategic industry affairs.
What your day would be like
1. Support Advocacy & Lobbying Activities
Assisting the Country Manager and first-hand exposure, engaging with national and regional authorities, industry partners, and aviation stakeholders. This includes contributing to work related to:
Regulatory developments affecting airlines (e.g., airport charges, consumer protection, airspace efficiency, slot coordination)
