Purpose
The General Communication Specialist supports the delivery of ALS' global communication strategy by developing and delivering high-quality internal and external communication that strengthens the ALS brand, protects its reputation and supports business priorities.
Based in Europe, the role extends the capability of the Global Communication team across time zones, strengthening connections across the business and supporting the consistent delivery of global communication.
Working closely with the Group Communication Director and Senior Global Communication Specialist, the role works with stakeholders across the business to support communication strategies, develop engaging content and deliver communication plans that align with ALS' strategic objectives.
The role works with a high degree of autonomy in day-to-day delivery while operating within established communication strategies,
governance frameworks and agreed priorities.
As a member of the Global Communication team, the role contributes to a consistent, coordinated approach across regions, ensuring communication activities are aligned, audience focused and delivered to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic communication
Support the development and delivery of communication strategies for global business initiatives
Support the translation of business priorities into communication plans and delivery activities
Provide communication advice to stakeholders within established communication frameworks
Identify communication risks and escalate matters where appropriate
Monitor communication outcomes and identify opportunities for improvements
Apply ALS' communications policies, governance and brand standards across all communication activities.
