This is a full-time position at grade 8/9.

Assessment Centres for selected applicants and panel interviews would take place by the second half of September 2026.

The appointment is for a term of up to five years.

The successful candidate will be offered a definitive duration contract (CDD) of 5 years which may be renewed or converted in accordance with applicable policies and rules.

Purpose

The Director General role provides strategic leadership and operational oversight for the Operations Directorate. The Directorate is responsible for investment and advisory operations within the European Union, and European Free Trade Association (EFTA) countries.
