Parnell Academy is an established language academy based in La Cala de Mijas. As we approach our 10-year anniversary this September, we are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to join our team on a permanent basis.
- About the Role_

The position involves:
- Teaching one-to-one English and Spanish classes to adults in the mornings.
- Teaching group English classes to children and teenagers in the afternoons.
- Preparing and adapting lessons and materials according to each student's or group's individual level, needs and objectives.
- Monitoring student progress and providing feedback when required.
- Communicating professionally with parents and adult students.

Typical working hours are:
- Mornings: 09:00 - 13:00
- Afternoons: 16:00 - 20:00

Essential Requirements
- Native-level English.
- Fluent Spanish.
- Previous experience teaching English as a foreign language.
- Experience teaching children and/or teenagers in groups.




- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prepare lessons and teaching materials independently.
- Professional, reliable and proactive attitude.
- Legal right to work in Spain.

Highly Desirable
- Ability to teach Spanish as a foreign language.
- Experience preparing students for Cambridge English examinations.
- Experience teaching adults.
- Driving licence and own transport.
