Key Responsibilities
- Act as a strategic partner to operational stakeholders, assessing and challenging needs, requirements, and expectations.
- Build and maintain effective relationships, providing professional advice on procurement strategy, policies, and relevant legislation.
- Understand the operational needs of the business in relation to materials, equipment, and services.
- Evaluate suppliers and materials, draft scopes of work for services, negotiate contracts, and ensure purchases are cost-efficient and of high quality.
- Conduct competitive tendering, negotiations,



and contract awards in line with Boliden Group templates and standards.
- Analyse spend data to identify cost savings, service improvements, and opportunities for better supplier performance.
- Manage the approved supplier list and contracts register.
- Contribute to quarterly forecasts and annual budgets, including pricing for materials and services.
- Participate in Group Procurement meetings, with occasional travel to Sweden.
- Report on procurement activities, including supplier sustainability performance.
- Execute other procurement-related tasks, including processing purchase acquisitions/orders for materials, services, and equipment, ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Experience & Qualifications
- Third-level qualification (degree or equivalent).
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar procurement role.
- Experience in strategic sourcing, purchasing of services, and execution of large service agreements.
