What you'll be doing:
- Support a timely, accurate, and reliable general month-end close, including preparing journal entries, intercompany transactions, and account reconciliations (cash, prepaid, accruals, and fixed assets).
- Own the procure-to-pay cycle end-to-end — including purchase orders, accounts payable, corporate credit cards, and employee expense reimbursements.
- Support close optimization initiatives and contribute ideas for process improvement.
- Assist with variance analysis and analytical review of financial statements.
- Help establish, document, and maintain accounting policies and internal controls.
- Assist with the year-end audit and regulatory filings. Partner with external tax accountants to support tax filings.

Qualifications:
Required:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (ADE), or equivalent university-level education
- 2-4 years of experience in general ledger or transactional accounting (internship or prácticas experience welcome)
- Foundational understanding of IFRS, prior exposure to US GAAP a plus, with willingness to learn US GAAP reporting requirements
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot tables, basic formulas)
- Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
- Business-level English required
- Curiosity and willingness to develop accounting research and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on accuracy

Preferred:
- Actively pursuing ACCA or equivalent international account
