This is an opportunity for a senior engineer to build advanced AI agents that perform meaningful work for thousands of developers and directly influence how modern software products are monetized. You will work on agentic systems that go beyond simple LLM wrappers, contributing to orchestration, tool execution, context management, evaluation, and human-in-the-loop controls. The role combines deep backend engineering with product thinking, giving you significant ownership over what gets built and how it reaches users. You’ll operate in an early-stage product environment within a growing organization, where architecture is evolving and engineers are expected to shape technical direction. Collaboration is fully remote and highly autonomous, with strong emphasis on clear communication, fast iteration, reliability, and customer impact. Accountabilities
Design, build, and operate production-grade agentic systems that deliver tangible value to developers and end users.
Develop and improve core agent infrastructure, including orchestration, tool execution, context management, evaluation pipelines, permissions, and human-in-the-loop controls.
Build meaningful user-facing AI features and continuously monitor their usage, reliability, adoption, and overall impact.
Own projects end to end, from identifying opportunities and defining scope through architecture, implementation, launch, monitoring, and post-launch improvements.
Work closely with Product and other engineering teams to prioritize initiatives, validate ideas, and translate customer needs into effective technical solutions.
