Do you enjoy understanding how things work and figuring out why they don’t?:
We are looking for an Automation Engineer to join our automation and control team.
We’re not looking for a senior specialist or a recent graduate. We’re looking for an engineer with a solid technical foundation, some PLC programming experience, and the motivation to keep learning and growing.
The role combines programming, troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning of electrical and control systems on refit and new-build yacht projects. You’ll work closely with engineering, production, and project teams, helping bring complex systems from concept to operation.
The systems you help build won’t end up on a factory floor—they’ll be operating onboard some of the world’s most advanced yachts.
What We’re Looking For
- Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Automation Engineering, or similar.
- Around 2-5 years of experience in industrial automation or PLC programming.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a practical engineering mindset.
- Ability to read electrical schematics.
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, CAN, J1939, NMEA, Ethernet, or ADS.
Nice to Have
- TwinCAT or Codesys experience.
- IEC 61131-3 knowledge.
- Git/GitHub experience.
- Troubleshooting and commissioning experience.
- Marine sector experience.
What We Offer
- Technically challenging and highly customised projects.
- Direct involvement from development through commissioning.
- A small team where your contribution has real impact.
- The opportunity to build specialist expertise in a unique sector.
If you enjoy practical engineering, complex systems, and solving real-world technical challenges, we’d like to hear from you
