We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and quality-focused Software QA Analyst to evaluate software applications and ensure they meet functional, technical, and business requirements. The idóneo candidate will have strong knowledge of QA methodologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to analyze requirements, design effective test scenarios, identify defects, and communicate findings clearly.
Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements, user stories, and technical specifications to identify testing needs.
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, test scenarios, and test documentation.
- Execute manual and automated tests across software applications and environments.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system, usability, and exploratory testing.
- Identify, reproduce, document, and track software defects.
- Analyze defects and provide detailed information to support efficient resolution.
- Retest resolved issues and perform regression testing to ensure changes do not introduce new defects.
- Validate software functionality against business and technical requirements.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Perform cross-browser, cross-platform, and device testing when required.
- Maintain accurate records of test results, defects, test coverage, and QA activities.
- Monitor testing progress and communicate quality risks, issues, and recommendations.
- Participate in release validation and deployment readiness activities.
- Support user acceptance testing and production validation when required.
- Analyze recurring defects and identify opportunities to improve product quality.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, standards, and documentation.
