Ready to shape the future? As Senior Cloud Solutions Architect, you will be actively designing, implementing, and operating cloud-native backend systems and data services on AWS, contributing directly to our Data & AI platform and R&D; product roadmap. You write production code, build pipelines, own deployments, and take end-to-end accountability for the solutions you deliver. If you thrive building things that matter, in a team that values quality, ownership, and continuous improvement, this role is for you.
Your key responsibilities: Implement new features and maintain platform functionalities using AWS services (Lambda, Step Functions, Glue, Athena, API Gateway, and more); own deployments end to end.
Design and implement data processing pipelines, data archive processes, and RESTful/microservice integrations; apply serverless and event-driven patterns.
Write clean, well-tested,



documented Python code; apply OOP and design patterns; participate actively in code reviews.
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps; apply IaC principles using Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.Embed AWS security best practices and Merck security standards into every solution; ensure observability through monitoring and health checks.
