Job Description:

An opportunity for a * Fatigue and Damage Tolerance Engineer *has arisen within * Airbus Defence and Space *, Getafe (Spain). The selected candidate will join a brand-new team inside the * Military Derivatives department of Air Power *.

* RESPONSIBILITIES *

* Analyse and validate * metallic parts in Fatigue and Damage Tolerance (F&DT;), as well as composite or hybrid structures.* Write and check * stress dossiers, justification reports, and test programs.* Define justification approaches * and ensure activity progress with Technical Authority support.* Support manufacturing * by assessing non-conformities on structural elements.* Work closely * with design engineers and communicate with internal/external stakeholders, experts, and civil or military authorities.

* Education: * Master’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.* Experience:



* At least 3 years of experience in Fatigue and Damage Tolerance (F&DT;).* Soft skills: * Autonomous approach, strong adaptability, open-minded, synthetic thinker, and good communication skills.* Languages: * Advanced level of English and Spanish (both written & spoken).
