JOB SUMMARYPurchasing Specialist ensures that the items and services to manufacture our IVD Solutions are purchased from specified suppliers and are delivered according to the agreed terms and conditions. As well is in charge to negotiate the rates with the service freight suppliers and control the imports transit.

Key Accountabilities
- Runs reports in SAP to help determine purchase requests for expense items. For inventory items, generates purchase orders based on reorder points set in inventory management system. Periodically reviews reorder points to ensure they are adequate
- Creates purchase orders from purchase requisitions
- Issues purchase orders to suppliers and confirm delivery date, quantity ordered and price are correct.
- Maintains vendor relationships ensuring best pricing and order preference is received
- Confers with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability, and delivery schedule.
- Period conference Call with suppliers in order to follow the projects on goi
