About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and qualified A-Level Psychology Teacher to join our academic team on a temporary, full-time contract, with an anticipated start date between November and December 2026 and continuing until the end of the 2026/27 academic year in June 2027.

The role includes approximately 20 teaching hours per week, alongside mentoring, pastoral, and co-curricular responsibilities. The successful candidate will play an active role in supporting the academic, personal, and social development of our Sixth Form students, using an engaging, evidence-based,



and technology-enhanced approach to teaching and learning.

Experience or accreditation as a SENCO (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) would be highly desirable, particularly given our commitment to providing individualised support and ensuring that all students can access the curriculum effectively.

Responsibilities

- Teaching & Curriculum: Plan and deliver engaging, academically rigorous A-Level Psychology lessons aligned with the relevant examination board specifications, incorporating research, real-world applications, technology, and a range of learning resources.
- Assessment & Examination Preparation: Design and implement formative and summative assessments, providing high-quality feedback and preparing students effectively for A-Level examinations, including the development of examination technique, essay-writing skills, research methods, and critical evaluation.
