Job Description:

An opportunity for a *Structural Analysis Software Developer* has arisen within Airbus Operations, Getafe (Madrid).

The selected candidate will join the *Structural Analysis Methods & Tools Team*. Our department is in charge of defining and developing both the current run-mode and the future Structural Analysis Tools (ISAMI) used for the sizing and certification of series and next-generation Airbus products.

The team is multicultural, fully transnational, and operates in a general, collaborative environment. The jobholder will reinforce our engineering digitalization capabilities, combining advanced coding skills with airframe structural knowledge to address key challenges in data continuity, lead time, and next-gen simulation frameworks.

*RESPONSIBILITIES*

The main tasks of the jobholder will be:

* *Design and develop* the next-generation simulation platform (Advanced C++ framework), including GUI, transverse services, and multidisciplinary capabilities (FEM pre/postprocessing, surrogate models, AI).





* *Code and implement* specific capabilities within the Stress Solver Repository using Modern C++ and Python.

* *Automate* structural analysis processes into ISAMI in alignment with the Airframe Engineering digital strategy.

* *Maintain and optimize* existing methods and tools applied to current Airbus programs, ensuring performance improvements and business continuity.

* *Define* new sizing and optimization methods to set the standard for future development processes, securing data consistency across the lifecycle.

* *Supervise* and validate sub-contracted software development activities.
