About the RoleRecruit A Driver is currently recruiting experienced Class 2 Day Drivers for a well-established transport and logistics company based in Wakefield.
The role involves completing pallet network multi-drop deliveries, typically 10 or more drops per day, before collecting pallets for return to the depot. You'll be driving modern Euro 6, DVS-compliant vehicles fitted with tail lifts and curtain-side bodies.
This client values drivers who know their operation and regularly re-books reliable, site-experienced drivers for holiday and sickness cover.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete pallet network multi-drop deliveries
- Carry out customer collections throughout the day
- Operate curtain-side and tail-lift vehicles safely
- Complete daily vehicle safety checks
- Ensure delivery paperwork is completed accurately
- Deliver excellent customer service




- Comply with Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations

Requirements
- Valid UK Class 2 (Category C) Licence
- Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Class 2 multi-drop experience preferred
- Maximum 6 penalty points (minor endorsements only)
- Reliable, professional and safety-focused approach
