As a Software Engineer on a Kubernetes-focused product team, you will build and enhance open-source solutions that make Kubernetes easier to operate and integrate into production environments. You will develop operators that provide lifecycle management for mission-critical components and addons that deliver streamlined, low-operations experiences for Kubernetes users. Working primarily with Python and/or Golang, you will contribute to high-quality software used by a general technical community. You will stay close to the latest Kubernetes capabilities and open-source innovations, identifying opportunities to bring valuable functionality to end users. The role involves close collaboration with talented engineers, industry peers, and technology partners in a highly distributed environment. Accountabilities
Design and develop high-quality software features for Kubernetes-focused products and open-source solutions.
Build and maintain Kubernetes operators that provide complete lifecycle management for mission-critical components.
Develop and improve Kubernetes addons that enable seamless integration of projects and services with minimal operational overhead.
Write clean, maintainable, reliable, and well-tested code using Python and/or Golang.
Investigate, debug, and resolve technical issues while engaging constructively with the wider open-source community.
Stay current with new Kubernetes features, ecosystem developments, and relevant open-source projects, incorporating valuable capabilities into product solutions.
Collaborate proactively with engineers across a globally distributed team and contribute to technical discussions and desig
