About the RoleRecruit A Driver is currently recruiting experienced Class 1 Day Drivers for a leading transport and logistics company based in Wakefield.
The role includes a mixture of nationwide full-load deliveries and local multi-drop work, completing a maximum of six deliveries per shift. You'll be driving modern Euro 6, DVS-compliant vehicles with curtain-side and tail-lift trailers.
Drivers who demonstrate reliability and professionalism will become preferred drivers for future holiday and sickness cover.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete nationwide full-load deliveries
- Carry out local multi-drop deliveries (maximum 6 drops)
- Operate curtain-side and tail-lift trailers safely
- Complete daily vehicle safety checks
- Ensure delivery paperwork is completed accurately
- Provide excellent customer service
- Comply with Driver Hours and Working Time Regulations

Requirements




- Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Driver CPC Qualification Card
- Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous Class 1 driving experience
- Maximum 6 penalty points (minor endorsements only)
- Reliable, professional and safety-focused approach
