We’re hiring: German-Speaking Tender Technician At IO Skateparks , we continue to grow internationally and are looking for a Tender Technician with a background in construction, public procurement and/or Architecture to join our team in Barcelona and support us in identifying and preparing public tenders, particularly in German-speaking markets.

Location: Barcelona, Spain
Work model: Hybrid – office & remote Position: Part-time, with adaptable working hours We are a multidisciplinary team of architects, engineers, builders and action sports enthusiasts, specialised in the design and construction of skateparks, pumptracks and urban sports facilities. We develop tailor-made projects from concept to execution across Europe.
Main responsibilities: You will support our team throughout the tendering process, from identifying relevant opportunities to preparing and submitting the required technical and administrative documentation. Your role will include: • Supporting price control and cost tracking for projects and tenders. • Searching for and contacting suppliers and/or probable subcontractors according to project requirements. • Searching for relevant public tenders and new project opportunities, particularly in German-speaking markets. • Preparing, organising and submitting the required documentation for tender applications. • Managing and submitting the required documentation for awarded projects. • Monitoring deadlines and ensuring that all required documentation is submitted correctly. • Coordinating with our technical and administrative teams to collect the information and documents required for each tender or project. • Supporting communication and clarification processes related to tenders when required.
Profile we are looking for:



• Background or studies in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction, Urban Planning or a related technical field • German C1–C2 or native level is mandatory • Junior profiles are welcome • Interest in public tenders, architecture, construction and international projects • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail • Ability to understand and work with technical documentation • Proactive, responsible and eager to learn • Good level of English or Spanish • Currently based in Barcelona or willing to relocate
Nice to have: • Previous exposure to public tenders or procurement processes • Knowledge of German public procurement platforms and procedures • Ability to read architectural plans and technical drawings • Basic knowledge of Auto CAD or similar technical software • Previous experience in an architecture, engineering or construction environment What we offer: • Part-time position with flexible working hours • Hybrid work model, combining remote work and our Barcelona office • Long-term career opportunities, with the possibility to evolve into a full-time position and a longer-term employment arrangement as the role develops. xqbhyrx • Participation in unique skatepark, pumptrack and urban sports projects across Europe If you speak German at C1–C2/native level , have a technical or architectural background and would like to develop your career in public tenders and international projects , we would be happy to hear from you.
