Meridian Business Support is recruiting for aRecruitment Consultant to join our award winning branch based in Chester , supporting a busytemporary desk with a strong focus onindustrial, logistics, warehousing and manufacturing roles across the Chester area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys running their own desk, developing new business and delivering a high-volume, high-quality temp solution.
The Role
This is apermanent, full-time position , workingMonday to Friday, 8:00am 5:00pm . Youll manage the complete 360 recruitment lifecycle, working closely with the Branch Manager and wider team to grow and maintain a profitable temporary desk.
Key responsibilities include:
- Sourcing and placing candidates into temporary assignments across industrial and logistics environments




- Managing all branch enquiries via phone and email from both clients and candidates
- Weekly payroll responsibility for40+ temporary workers
- Writing and posting engaging job adverts across job boards and internal platforms
- Conducting telephone screens, face-to-face and WhatsApp video registrations
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships through regular contact and on-site visits
- Negotiating rates and terms with both clients and candidates
- Generating new business using sales, business development, marketing and networking techniques
- Identifying leads and converting them into sales opportunities
- Arranging and attending client meetings to present Meridians recruitment solutions
- Keeping CRM records fully up to date and compliant
- Understanding market trends, margins and competitor activity to maximise performance
- Achieving KPIs and contributing positively to the wider
