Vehicle Technician Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent IMI / City & Guilds qualification).
Hands-on workshop experience as a mechanic or technician, ideally within a franchised dealership environment.
Vehicle Technician Job role:
Carry out comprehensive vehicle servicing, including oil changes, filter replacements, and component updates, in line with manufacturer standards.
Diagnose and repair mechanical faults across braking, steering, suspension, and basic engine systems.
Complete thorough Electronic Vehicle Health Checks (eVHCs) to identify and record any work required.
