As part of Solera's Global IT Organization, you will manage Linux servers powering customer-facing and internal apps. You’ll ensure health, uptime, and disaster recovery, while applying security patches and hardening. You’ll automate deployment with templates and scripts, support server and software rollouts, and maintain clear documentation. This role is a hands-on, cross-functional contributor focused on reliable, scalable Linux infrastructure and DevOps-driven automation.

• Deploy, configure and maintain Linux servers in a data center environment
• Maintain server health, uptime, monitoring, and disaster recovery
• Patch, remediate and secure OS per security policies
• Create/maintain standardized OS templates and automate VM deployment




• Assist project teams with design, strategy, planning and rollout of servers and software
• Perform daily operations: change requests, support tickets, monitoring, triage
• Produce and maintain server documentation
• Adopt DevOps practices to automate routine tasks
Responsabilidades
• 5+ years of experience supporting Linux servers in production
• Scripting and xqbhyrx automation (Shell, Ansible, Perl or Python)
• Performance tuning and troubleshooting
• VMware, networking and storage fundamentals
• Good documentation skills
• Experience supporting web-based apps on Apache Tomcat
• Multi-platform, multi-data center IT environment experience
• Experience automating tasks with scripting languages (bash, csh, etc)
