In this role you will contribute to the Engine team's distributed backend responsible for the Recipe runtime, including DSL, event handling, and job execution. You will shape architecture for high performance and resilience across complex, heterogeneous Ruby and Go applications. You’ll lead technical decisions, review code, and collaborate across teams to improve systems and data storage integrations. This is a scale-focused, enterprise-grade environment with opportunities to impact product reliability and efficiency. You will work remotely with globally distributed teams and help operationalize AI features in a trusted platform.
Compensaciones / Ventajas
• Architect and design distributed backend systems with performance and resilience requirements
• Develop, extend, and debug Ruby and Go applications and microservices
• Integrate data storage components (Postgres, S3, Redis, Kafka, ClickHouse, etc.)




• Contribute across the full software lifecycle and perform code reviews
• Provide technical leadership and collaborate with multiple teams on shared projects
• Identify bottlenecks, propose and implement improvements, and ensure code quality and automation
Responsabilidades
• 7+ years of experience building scalable distributed backend applications
• Strong understanding of distributed systems patterns and algorithms
• Solid knowledge of databases, load balancers, caches, message brokers, monitoring xqbhyrx
• Excellent grasp of network protocols and stacks; experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
• Proficiency in Ruby and Go (at least two languages); willingness to learn Rust
• Familiarity with cloud deployments (k8s, Terraform, ArgoCD) and public clouds (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Excellent debugging, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field; 7+ years of industry experience
