Autonomous Vehicle Safety Operator – MadridWeRide is looking for safety-focused drivers to support our autonomous vehicle operations in Madrid.What you will do- Safely operate and monitor autonomous vehicles during road testing and daily operations.- Take control of the vehicle when required and follow all safety procedures.- Complete basic vehicle inspections, preparation, cleaning and EV charging.- Report road conditions, incidents and abnormal situations clearly.- Support vehicle testing, demonstrations and other on-site operational activities.Requirements- Valid EU-issued Category B driving licence held for at least 3 years.- Legal right to work in Spain.- Safe driving record with no major accidents or serious violations in the last 3 years.- Comfortable working fixed shifts, weekends and in a safety-focused environment.- Responsible,
attentive and able to follow instructions carefully.- Professional driving experience in VTC, taxi, private driving, delivery, logistics, fleet operations or vehicle testing is highly preferred.Salary & Benefits- €1,900 gross per month- 22 working days of annual leave- 5 working days + 2 days off per week- Fixed morning or afternoon shift after assignment- Approximately 2 weeks of paid operational training- Employment contract signed from the first day of training- Hands-on experience in the autonomous driving industryCurrent shifts- Morning: 07:00–14:30- Afternoon: 13:30–21:00Location: Madrid, Spain
