Experteer Overview Experienced Data Analyst to support a European public-sector dataset project. You will design reproducible data-processing workflows and analytical datasets using SQL, Python, or R, while ensuring data quality and governance. You’ll work with diverse data sources, build analytical dashboards, and validate outputs from AI/NLP-assisted processing. The role sits in an international context, collaborating with policy and IT stakeholders to drive effective public-sector insights.Compensaciones / Incentivos
- Collecting, assessing, integrating and managing data from EU, national and other administrative databases
- Cleaning, transforming and harmonising structured and semi-structured datasets using SQL, Python, R
- Identifying and standardising organisations and entities across data sources
- Designing entity matching, record linkage, deduplication and reconciliation techniques
- Building and maintaining relational or analytical databases with metadata and data dictionaries
- Defining data-quality controls and validation rules (completeness, consistency, accuracy, uniqueness, plausibility, traceability)
- Developing reproducible ETL/ELT workflows and reusable processing scripts
- Performing exploratory, descriptive and comparative analytics and developing indicators
- Creating analytical tables, visualisations, dashboards and reports for varied audiences
- Handling unstructured data and supporting AI/NLP-assisted workflows
- Reviewing and validating automatically extracted entities and relationships,
addressing false positives/negatives
- Documenting data sources, methodologies, limitations, lineage and quality issues
- Collaborating with policy officers, data owners and IT specialists; presenting findings to technical and non-technical audiencesResponsabilidades
- University degree corresponding to EQF Level 7 (Master) or Level 6 (Bachelor) with substantial IT experience
- English level B2 or higher
- Min 3 years of experience with SQL and Python, R for data processing
- Min 3 years of experience in ETL/ELT and database design/maintenance
- Min 3 years of experience in entity identification, record linkage, deduplication and data-quality validation
- Min 2 years of experience in exploratory/descriptive or comparative data analysis and indicator development
- Min 1 year of experience with ML, NLP or AI-assisted methods on unstructured data
- Min 6 months of experience with EU funding data or public-sector datasets
- Min 6 months of experience in data visualization and communicating to non-technical audiences
- At least one professional certification in Data Analytics/BI/Data Engineering/Data Governance (e.G., Power BI, Azure Data Engineer, Fabric)
