About ORTH by Aydi Technologies
Aydi Technologies builds the field operating system for general agriculture. Our product, ORTH, combines satellite imagery, weather data and agronomic science to give growers plot-level intelligence and answer agronomic questions in seconds.
More than 300,000 growers use ORTH mainly across Spain, Mexico, Peru, Colombia, Argentina and Chile, and we work with enterprise-grade agricultural businesses in over 15 countries. We are backed by a $7.5M seed round led by COTU Ventures, with participation from Daltex and Nuwa Capital.
About the role
Enterprise agribusinesses, meaning cooperatives, packhouses, exporters and large growing operations, need ORTH to work alongside the systems they already run: their ERP, their parcel and land records, their machinery and sensor data, and their traceability and certification reporting.
This is our first dedicated technical hire for that work. You own the technical side of the enterprise sales cycle and the technical relationship after the sale. You translate what a customer runs into requirements our engineering squads can build against, and you feed back what recurs across accounts so we build once and serve many.
You will work with a distributed product and engineering organisation and alongside our commercial team in Spain and Latin America.
Responsibilities
Technical discovery and qualification Lead technical discovery on enterprise opportunities. Document what the customer runs today, what data moves in each direction, and which system remains the source of truth. Give the commercial team a clear buildable or not-buildable answer, with the hard parts identified, before commitments are made.
Solution design and requirements Write integration and functional requirements our engineering squads can build from without returning to the customer for clarification. Agree written acceptance criteria with the customer before development starts.
Demonstration and validation Run technical demonstrations and proofs of concept. Validate delivered integrations against the agreed acceptance criteria and lead technical handover to the customer's team.
Account ownership Act as the named technical contact for a portfolio of enterprise accounts. Triage and route issues, run periodic technical reviews, and keep integration documentation current.
Product feedback Maintain a documented view of integration patterns across markets and make the case to product for which of them should become standard capability.
What success looks like
First 90 days: you understand ORTH's data model and integration surface, you are contributing to live enterprise opportunities, and you have delivered your first requirements specification.
Six months: you are the named technical owner for multiple accounts, those integrations are live in production, and there is a documented reference architecture for enterprise agribusiness integrations.
Twelve months: discovery and requirements follow a repeatable process others can run, and at least several recurring patterns have been promoted into standard product capability.
Requirements
5+ years in solutions engineering, pre-sales, technical account management, or software implementation, in a customer-facing role on enterprise deals
Enterprise integration fluency: REST APIs, webhooks, SSO (SAML or OIDC), batch versus event-driven data exchange, and data mapping. You can read API documentation, test endpoints yourself, and debug a payload.
You are not expected to write production code.
Requirements writing: a track record of specifications that engineering teams built from successfully
Language: native or bilingual Spanish and professional English
Travel: willingness to travel to customers across Spain, wider Europe and Latin America
Nice to Have

Interoperability standards and exchange layers: ISOBUS and ISOXML, ADAPT, agrirouter, Leaf Agriculture
Irrigation and in-field sensor telemetry
Earth observation and weather data providers: Copernicus and Sentinel, Planet, commercial weather APIs
Land, parcel and compliance records: SIGPAC and equivalent national parcel registries, the digital field notebook, and the traceability and certification reporting customers are audited against
Experience with agribusiness in more than one region, particularly Europe and Spanish-speaking Latin America
Background at an agricultural software vendor or an implementation partner serving the sector
