Technical Contract Specialist (Project/Asset Management)
to join our
Legal & Compliance Department . In this role, you will be responsible of the following tasks:
Lead/assist the contract lifecycle management workflow, with special relevance in EPC/O&M;/Asset Management contracts drafting and negotiation;
Keep track of important contract dates and milestones, including bonds/guarantees;
Mitigate common contract management risks, such as financial, legal, and security risks; Know contract compliance best practices; Maintain confidentiality of all contracts;
Respond to requests from internal departments and make sure all contracts are drafted and executed promptly and correctly;
Partner with other departments to make the contract management process more effective and efficient;
Adhere to all state, regional and local business laws and regulations and company policies;
Manage claims arising from the contracts;
Assist in corporate management matters and the department with any queries from the rest of the company;
Help maintain a database of contract templates, such as non-disclosures, non-competes, release forms, partnership agreements, purchase orders, employment contracts, and independent contractor/subcontractor agreements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Law , or equivalent relevant discipline.
3 years
of previous experience working in the
legal/renewable energy sector.
English Advanced level (equivalent to C1-C2)
Spanish Advanced level (equivalent C1-C2/Native)
Other Valuable Requirements:
Desirable
master's or specialization in renewable energy
or any other related field.
Previous experience in
EPC/O&M;/Asset Management
contract drafting, negotiation and execution (as well as any contracts related to the construction and supply of equipment in renewable projects, including contract management);
Previous experience working within a company in the renewable sector or in the energy team of a legal firm;
Intermediate to Advanced level of proficiency with Windows OS, MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Communication skills and relationship management, strategic thinking, ability to execute, problem-solving and attention to detail.
Agile thinking and problem solving. Proactivity, with the ability to work independently. Ability to learn and apply internal procedures. Ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks at once.
