Experteer Overview
In this role you drive food safety at the local factory, applying HACCP, EMP, and GFSI frameworks to protect products and consumers. You will partner with production and management to identify risks, lead root-cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. You’ll plan, direct, and maintain food safety standards across processes, materials, and products, while supporting multiple customer requirements. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role with a focus on audits, training, and continuous improvement to foster a strong food safety culture.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Develop, implement, and manage plant food safety policies and procedures based on global input
• Conduct periodic audits and inspections of food handling and storage practices
• Ensure plant operations comply with HACCP and regulatory standards
• Act as master trainer on food safety practices; train GMP, HACCP, pest management, and hygiene
• Investigate trends and incidents; lead cross-functional teams on corrective actions
• Conduct regular food safety audits and collaborate with production and QA to mitigate risks




• Review EMP and sanitation results; address non-conformities
• Monitor and maintain HACCP, CCP, and OPRP sheets; ensure regular validations
• Ensure allergen validations where applicable meet BC requirements
• Maintain records of GMP compliance and pest management; coordinate with pest control vendors
• Coordinate pest control strategies and maintain effective pest management

Responsabilidades
• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years' experience in food safety including HACCP and EMP training
• Experience with GFSI standards (preferably FSSC22000 or BRC)
• High degree of computer literacy
• Working knowledge of sanitation, ISO, and SPC/statistical methods
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, delegate, and analyze
• Ability to access all factory areas and handle physical requirements
