Experteer Overview As Site Specialist II at ICON, you support clinical trial sites in Spain to drive start-up, activation, and ongoing site management. You act as a key operational contact for Spanish investigator sites and internal study teams, ensuring regulatory activities, documentation, and milestones are managed accurately. The role requires hands-on EU CTR knowledge and collaboration across regulatory, clinical operations, and site teams. You will identify delays, drive follow-ups, and contribute to process improvements that accelerate study timelines. - Coordinate collection and maintenance of essential site documentation to ensure regulatory compliance
- Support site start-up and regulatory activities per EU CTR requirements
- Act as operational contact for Spanish investigator sites, guiding documentation, systems, timelines, and processes
- Track site progress, milestones, and actions within clinical trial management systems
- Collaborate with Site Activation, Regulatory, Clinical Operations and cross-functional teams to resolve issues impacting timelines
- Support ongoing site maintenance throughout the study lifecycle




- Proactively identify delays or operational challenges and drive follow-up with sites and stakeholders
- Contribute to process improvements and share best practices
- Provide guidance and support to junior colleagues as appropriateResponsabilidades
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, healthcare or related discipline or equivalent clinical research experience
- Experience in site support, site activation, start-up, regulatory, or clinical trial operations in CRO/pharma or similar environment
- Hands-on experience with EU CTR processes
- Good understanding of clinical trial documentation, GCP and site-level regulatory requirements
- Fluent in Spanish and English with strong communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple sites and deadlines
