Position Summary

Pulva Corporation is seeking an Application and Sales Engineer who combines mechanical engineering expertise with strong sales acumen and customer-facing skills. You'll serve as the technical expert who drives the sales process — from initial customer contact through proposal and quote — while supporting engineering execution on won projects.

This role is adecuado for an engineer who enjoys both technical problem-solvingandbuilding customer relationships that drive business growth.

Primary Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Development
- Serve as first point of contact for incoming inquiries; qualify leads to determine customer requirements, budget, timeline, and decision-making authority.
- Generate business proposals with sales drawings, technical documentation, and pricing.
- Create quotes — including costing of material, labor hours, and commercial terms.
- Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations for prospective clients.
- Partner with Sales to deliver solutions that meet customer needs and close business.




- Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities; follow up on proposals to drive purchasing decisions.

Engineering & Technical Support
- Prepare preliminary mechanical designs, calculations, and layout drawings to support quotes and proposals.
- Generate Bills of Material (BOMs) — single-level and multi-level structures.
- Design equipment, components, and assemblies using SolidWorks; create and maintain engineering documentation.
- Evaluate customer applications and recommend equipment solutions.
- Lead project kick-offs and coordinate with Manufacturing to ensure designs are practical and cost-effective.
- Provide aftermarket engineering support including installation, troubleshooting, and spare parts.
- Process Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and support continuous product improvement.
- Support Manufacturing throughout the build process
- Travel approximately 10-15% to customer sites, trade shows, or equipment testing
