We are currently expanding our team and looking for an L3 Support Engineer (Java/Spring Boot) to join a challenging international project with strong professional development opportunities. As an L3 Support Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the availability, stability, and performance of critical business applications, with a strong focus on Kafka-based event-driven architectures, PL/SQL troubleshooting, and complex production support activities.
You are the ideal candidate if you have…
At least 3 years of experience in L3 Application Support, Site Reliability Engineering, or Software Engineering within high-availability environments.
Strong experience troubleshooting backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
Strong hands-on experience with Kafka, including event handling, topic analysis, message tracing, and troubleshooting distributed event-driven systems.
Advanced PL/SQL and SQL knowledge, with proven experience analyzing complex queries, troubleshooting data issues, optimizing performance, and working with relational databases.
Solid knowledge of distributed architectures, including REST APIs, Microservices, and Kafka-based solutions.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Linux environments.
Experience participating in on-call support rotations for business-critical applications.
Fluent English to work in an international environment.
What will your day-to-day look like?
Act as the L3 escalation point for critical production incidents, driving resolution through log analysis, telemetry, code debugging, and Kafka event tracing.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for complex incidents involving microservices, Kafka event streams, databases, and integrations.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize distributed microservices and Kafka-driven event-processing platforms.
Analyze and resolve complex database issues using SQL and PL/SQL, ensuring data integrity, performance optimization, and operational stability.
Participate in release management activities, operational readiness reviews, and deployment processes within Kubernetes environments.

Experience working in fintech, digital banking, financial services, or other highly regulated environments.
Knowledge of frontend technologies such as React to support end-to-end issue analysis.
Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work effectively within international and multicultural teams.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
