Experteer Overview Engineer with interest in tunnel ventilation and CFD joins a global infrastructure leader to develop ventilation models and simulations. You will work with multidisciplinary teams to support integrated tunnel and station designs and contribute to safety-focused analyses. The role combines hands-on modeling, calculations, and documentation to help deliver safer, efficient tunnel systems. You’ll engage with cutting-edge CFD tools and simulation software to shape project outcomes and site-ready designs. Compensaciones / Incentivos • Develop ventilation models and engineering assessments under supervision • Prepare engineering calculations, ventilation layouts, and equipment sizing/specifications • Develop and review simulation models for tunnel ventilation and fire scenarios • Create 1D and 3D ventilation and fire/smoke analyses using SES, IDA Tunnel, FDS, PyroSim; support occupant egress studies • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams for integrated tunnel and station designs • Ensure designs comply with project requirements, codes,
and standards • Participate in technical meetings, design reviews, and workshops • Support space proofing and maintenance studies for TVS components • Contribute to technical reports and engineering documentation Responsabilidades • Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering • Up to 2 years of related experience • Interest in tunnel ventilation, fire life safety engineering, fluid dynamics, and simulation-based design • Familiarity with SES, IDA Tunnel, FDS, PyroSim, ANSYS Fluent is advantageous • Knowledge of NFPA 130, PIARC, EU Directive 2004/54/EC is beneficial • Basic scripting knowledge (Python, VBA) is advantageous • Office tools (Excel, Word); Revit or CAD experience beneficial • Professional English; Spanish proficiency is desirable • Ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams Requisitos principales • medical • dental • vision • retirement savings plan • paid time off • flexible work options
