Experteer Overview
In this Cost Controller role, you will oversee project cost control and schedule reporting across the life sciences projects. You will work with cross-functional teams and Senior Controllers to ensure accurate, timely reporting and data integrity. The role focuses on integrating cost data with procurement, scheduling, and field activities to support on-time project delivery. You will use industry tools to develop dashboards, SOVs, and cost forecasts, contributing to continuous improvement and informed decision-making.

• Collaborate with PMs, Discipline Leads, and Engineers to ensure consistent project reporting across platforms
• Develop estimates for bid package budgeting and contribute to bid package processes
• Support PNR and BRR updates and maintain report accuracy across systems
• Manage budget comparison tools in partnership with PM and Procurement Manager
• Translate bid breakdowns into Schedules of Values and maintain knowledge of contract scopes
• Lead cost reporting using Procore, Power BI, and UDF; manage spend plan updates
• Create dashboards and custom reports with project team
• Support estimating, procurement, and PM efforts for scope coordination and bid evaluation
• Drive continuous improvement through company-wide collaboration
• Facilitate agreement on contractor SOVs, monitor progress, and validate invoicing and payments
• Coordinate with accounting to align project billing with funding and client invoices
• Participate in change control, track cost trends, and validate pricing adjustments and change orders
• Operate and support integrated cost reporting systems
• Prepare detailed cost reports covering budgets, commitments, spending, and forecasts
• Contribute to budgeting, invoicing, change control, and cost forecasting across the EPCQ lifecycle
• Create visual outputs to support team communication and provide cash flow and staffing updates
• Align cost and schedule data; prepare schedule progress and trend analyses
• Support closeout activities and document lessons learned
• Compile historical cost data and capture lessons learned at project completion
Responsabilidades
• BS degree in engineering or related technical field, construction management, or applicable experience
• 3-6 years of professional experience
• Aptitude to broaden knowledge of EPCQ processes in Pharma/Biotech
• Strong analytical and computer skills
• Experience with data management tools (MS Excel, MS Access, Power BI)
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and organizational skills with ability to manage large information and deadlines
• Desire to pursue PMI, AACEI or other industry certifications
• Preferred: exposure to financial ERP systems
