As an Accounting Associate in Scopely’s Accounting Finance Team in Barcelona, you will support day-to-day accounting operations and help drive process improvements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and the shared service center to ensure accurate financial reporting across entities. Your work will cover reconciliations, GL maintenance, month-end close, intercompany activity, and audits, contributing to scalable financial controls. This role blends analytical rigor with hands-on accounting in a dynamic, multi-entity environment, offering meaningful impact on reporting accuracy and efficiency.
Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Record general ledger entries per local and group policies
• Assist with month-end close and GL reconciliations
• Post and reconcile intercompany transactions




• Maintain the fixed assets register and monthly depreciation
• Collaborate with Accounts Payable on reconciliations
• Support during external and internal audits
• Partner with cross-functional teams for financial insights
• Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives
Responsabilidades
• 5+ years of general accounting experience
• Experience in international/multi-entity environments
• Strong English communication xqbhyrx skills (written and verbal)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office tools
• Highly analytical, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Experience recording accruals, prepaid expenses, and reclassifications
• Experience with flux analysis and variance explanations
• Team-oriented mindset with focus on shared goals
• Experience with ERP systems (preferred Oracle ERP)
