Julius Baer , one of the worlds leading Swiss private banking groups.
About the role
We are looking for an experienced
Application Responsible / System Architect
to take end-to-end ownership of a business-critical internal application built on the
Actico Rules
platform.
This role combines
application ownership, operational excellence, and system architecture , ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous evolution of a key banking application. You will collaborate with Enterprise Architects,
development teams, infrastructure specialists, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions aligned with Julius Baers technology strategy.
Main responsibilities
Application Ownership & Operations
Take end-to-end responsibility for the assigned application, ensuring availability, stability, performance, and lifecycle management.
Act as the primary point of contact for operational, functional, and technical stakeholders.
Coordinate incident resolution, problem management, and application changes.
Perform application health checks, capacity planning, and performance optimization.
Conduct impact and risk assessments for application changes.
Maintain accurate operational documentation, runbooks, and service records.
Lead application lifecycle activities, including modernization, rationalization, or decommissioning when appropriate.
