MuleSoft Platform Operations / Platform Engineer About the role We are looking for

MuleSoft Platform Operations / Platform Engineers

to join an

international ,

cross-functional technology environment .

We are currently hiring across

different levels of seniority , from profiles focused on

L2 operational support

to more experienced engineers working on

L3 operations, automation, reliability, and platform engineering .

This is a

platform operations position , not an API development role.

Depending on your experience and seniority, you may be involved in areas such as:

L2 production support and incident resolution

L3 troubleshooting and escalated incident management

Platform automation and continuous improvement

Capacity and performance management

Self-healing and auto-remediation initiatives

Deployment, release, and change support

Operational excellence and platform reliability

You will work in a multi-cloud environment with technologies such as

MuleSoft Anypoint Platform ,

Terraform ,

OpenShift ,

ArgoCD ,

GitHub ,

AWS , and

Azure , collaborating with internal teams, external providers, and international stakeholders.

What you’ll do Depending on your seniority and experience, your responsibilities may include:

Operate and support

MuleSoft platforms

in production environments

Investigate and resolve

incidents

within agreed SLA timelines

Perform

platform troubleshooting , log analysis, and system diagnostics

Handle

L2 support activities

and, for more senior profiles, manage

escalated L3 incidents

Support

major incidents , service restoration activities, and operational recovery procedures

Support

deployment ,

release , and

production change activities

Execute and maintain

runbooks ,

SOPs ,

recovery procedures , and knowledge articles

Identify recurring issues and contribute to

Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

and continuous improvement

Manage or support platform configuration and infrastructure using

Terraform

Work with

OpenShift

and

ArgoCD

in containerised and GitOps-based environments

Maintain and work with

GitHub repositories , version control, and operational workflows

Support

authentication and authorisation mechanisms , including

OAuth

and

OpenID Connect

Develop and maintain

automation scripts

for repetitive operational tasks

For more senior profiles, design automation using





Python ,

PowerShell ,

Shell scripting , or platform-specific tools

For more senior profiles, contribute to or own

platform capacity management , including utilisation monitoring, growth forecasting, and capacity planning

For platform engineering profiles, design and implement

self-healing

and

auto-remediation solutions

Monitor platform

availability ,

performance ,

resource utilisation , and operational KPIs

Track operational actions, incidents, and service requests through to completion

Produce

incident reports , technical documentation, operational runbooks, and knowledge articles

Participate in

production support meetings , operational reviews, and technical workshops

Collaborate with

infrastructure ,

security ,

networking ,

development ,

support teams , and

external providers

Strong experience with

MuleSoft platform management and operations

Experience focused on

platform operations, administration, infrastructure, or production support , rather than only API development

Hands‑on experience with

Terraform

Hands‑on experience with

OpenShift

Experience with

GitHub

Experience with

ArgoCD / Argo CI/CD / GitOps-based deployments

Experience supporting

production environments , incidents, troubleshooting, and service restoration

Ability to analyse

logs , diagnose operational issues, and follow structured troubleshooting processes

Knowledge of

authentication and authorisation mechanisms , including

OAuth

and

OpenID Connect

Foundational knowledge of

AWS

Foundational knowledge of

Microsoft Azure

Knowledge of

ITIL processes

and service management practices

Strong

communication ,

stakeholder management , and technical information synthesis skills

Ability to work autonomously in an

international

and

cross‑functional

environment

Degree in

Computer Science ,

Engineering , or an equivalent relevant field

Experience with

MuleSoft Flex Gateway / Omni Gateway

Experience with platform automation using Python, PowerShell, Shell scripting, or similar technologies

Experience with

Root Cause Analysis , incident prevention, and continuous service improvement

Experience with





capacity management , performance monitoring, and platform optimisation

Experience supporting major incidents and on‑call activities

Knowledge of

XML ,

XSD ,

WSDL ,

WS-* ,

Java , and

JSON

Understanding of network fundamentals, including Virtual IPs, firewalls, load balancers, routing, and connectivity

Experience managing

certificate lifecycles

Familiarity with

SOAPUI

and

Postman

Experience with

ServiceNow

Experience working with

Linux environments

Experience with

Silva

or similar platform‑specific tools

Previous experience working with integration platforms in complex enterprise environments

Previous experience coordinating internal teams and external service providers
