Experteer Overview
As a Software Engineer at King, you design, build, and maintain backend services and platforms used across multiple games. You collaborate with product, design, and game teams to deliver scalable, reliable systems with strong maintainability. You’ll work on a mix of backend services, APIs, event-driven architectures, and potential AI-enabled features to enhance player support and game ecosystems. This role offers impact across a broad technology stack and a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration. You will help shape architecture and engineering practices while delivering high-quality software at scale.

Compensaciones / Incentivos
• Design, build, and maintain software used across multiple King games and services
• Develop scalable backend services, APIs, event-driven systems, and reusable platform components
• Design integrations and data flows across Player Support, game, and internal platform systems
• Own features from design to testing, deployment, monitoring, and production support
• Improve scalability, resilience, observability, and maintainability of existing systems
• Collaborate with Product Owners, designers, engineers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
• Contribute to architecture, technical discussions, code reviews,



and engineering standards
• Improve software quality through automation, testing, and continuous delivery
• Explore and integrate AI capabilities into player support products, workflows, and internal tools

Responsabilidades
• Professional software development experience, ideally with Java or another backend-oriented language
• Experience building scalable backend services and APIs
• Knowledge of distributed systems, asynchronous processing, and event-driven architectures
• Experience with relational or NoSQL databases, data modeling and performance considerations
• Ability to design reliable integrations between systems
• Clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
• Proficiency with modern engineering practices (Git, CI/CD, automated testing, code reviews)
• Experience with reliability, observability, monitoring, and production operations
• Experience with cloud-based systems and modern deployment practices
• Ability to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams
• Experience using AI capabilities or AI-assisted tools in development or delivery
• Proficiency in English
