For one of our clients, an established company based in Brussels, we are looking for an experienced and autonomous Corporate Accountant to join their Finance team.

Your Role

As a Corporate Accountant, you will be responsible for the accounting activities of several entities and will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Managing the general accounting of several entities;
- Recording and reviewing accounting transactions;
- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable;
- Preparing monthly and annual closings;
- Performing bank reconciliations and reviewing balance sheet accounts;
- Preparing VAT returns and other statutory filings;
- Contributing to financial reporting and analysis;
- Working closely with external auditors and other financial partners;




- Identifying opportunities to improve and streamline accounting processes.

Your Profile

- You have at least 4 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in a corporate or international environment;
- You are autonomous, proactive and able to take ownership of your responsibilities;
- You have a solid understanding of general accounting and closing procedures;
- You are fluent in French and English, both written and spoken;
- Dutch is a strong plus;
- You are structured, accurate and detail-oriented;
- You have excellent organisational and communication skills;
- You are comfortable working in a dynamic, international environment;
- Good knowledge of Excel and accounting/ERP systems is an advantage.
