BeAngels is Belgium's leading private investment community, connecting ambitious entrepreneurs with experienced investors who bring far more than capital. Through strategic expertise, industry connections, and active engagement, our members help high-potential startups and scale-ups accelerate growth, navigate key milestones, and create lasting value.

BeAngels helps its members improve their investment skills by joining the BeAngels Academy, investing in groups or through funds, and provides structured support to make meetings between entrepreneurs and investors more efficient. We want to make the angel world a better place!

About the job

We're looking for someone dynamic, organised and at ease with people to take on a central, cross-functional role within our team. You'll be the driving force behind our community and our events, and the go-to person for onboarding and tracking our investors.

This is not a role where you simply redirect people to someone else. You'll answer questions yourself whenever you can, dig up what you don't know rather than pass it on, and take a real interest in what our investors and entrepreneurs are working on.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Event organization

Our events are the heart of the job: an Investors Night every month, the Academy, workshops, webinars and internal events.

- Take charge of our events from A to Z (venue, catering, providers, budget) and ensure everything runs seamlessly




- Prepare the materials, invitations, reminders and follow-ups for each event
- Welcome participants on-site and walk the entrepreneurs pitching through how the evening runs
- Track attendance and participation, so we understand how our community engages
- Collect feedback after each event and apply it to the next one

- Community: investors and start-ups

Our community has two sides, and you look after both.

- Be the first point of contact for our community, and make sure nobody waits for an answer
- Investors: onboard in our systems and welcome new members, point them to the right people at events, and keep the community alive across the Academy, the investment groups and the alumni
- Start-ups: onboard and look after the entrepreneurs coming through our network, from selection to pitch and beyond, so they always know what happens next and who to ask
- Keep our website up to date, so our community finds the right information
- Get to know our members and entrepreneurs personally, and share what you learn
- Handle light workplace procurement

Your profile

BeAngels is a tight-knit team inside a large ecosystem, so character counts as much as experience. What we look for:

- Reliability,



rigour and structure above all: when something is yours, it gets done
- Minimum 3 years' end-to-end experience in events and community management
- Happy to take the initiative without waiting for a perfect brief
- Cheerful and outgoing, at ease with everyone from first-time founders to seasoned investors
- Fluent in French and English, strong written and spoken Dutch
- A team player who wants to help make the angel world a better place
- Knowledge of Mailchimp and basic digital tools
- Driving license, to travel to and attend our events across Belgium and Luxembourg

This role is available full-time (100%) or at 80% based at BeCentral (Brussels) and reporting to the BeAngels General Manager. As part of the role, you'll attend events across Belgium and Luxembourg, some of which run outside office hours, this is compensated with 5 extra days off per year.
